Download Agenda
Boston, USA
15-16 February, 2022

“As always, I am excited to engage with this community of inspiring women’s health innovators and learn about the new solutions bridging the healthcare gap for women globally.”

Erica Kantor, Head of Women’s Health, Sagentia Innovation

Why Attend

Reproductive health is set to hold a leading market share of women’s health industry, with an estimated global worth of $171 billion by 2027.

Start-ups, Femtech, and Technology innovators are driving the acceleration of new and improved solutions for the unmet needs of people’s reproductive health journeys.

The Reproductive Health Innovation Summit (15-16 February) is the destination for uncovering what is next in fertility, contraception, and maternal health, from AI and big data to genetic testing, laboratory automation, consumer wearables, non-hormonal devices and solutions, and new care delivery models.

Join us to:

  • Tackle the challenges that straddle the reproductive health sector, including funding, insurance coverage, access and DTC business-models.
  • Dive into 1 of our 3 leading innovation topics: Contraception, Fertility or Maternal Health, to discover the latest research, innovations, and sector-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Network with the leaders and changemakers, with numerous 1-2-1 opportunities, investor clinics and interactive roundtables throughout the 2 days.

Add to the innovation, and attend alongside our leading network of, biotech’s, start-ups, Femtech, insurers, CRO’s, investors, medical device companies, researchers, pharmaceuticals, HCP’s and advocacy groups, to drive innovation at the convergence of healthcare and technology.

2022 Innovation Spotlight

Showcasing the most innovative and disruptive companies in reproductive health.

18 opportunities at this years’ summit!

9 reproductive health focused start-ups, selected by our prestigious Selection Committee, will take to the stage in quick-fire round of presentations, demonstrating their vision of the reproductive health industry of the future, and what role their technology, product, or service plays in that.

3 finalists will be selected from each of the 3 innovation categories: contraception, fertility and maternal health, to give a 3-minute pitch of their company in front of 100s of industry leaders and strategic, corporate partners.

The 3 runners-up in each category will have the opportunity to enter a ‘lightening round’ of 1- minute pitches on-stage.

Applications are stage agnostic, and we encourage anyone to apply with a vision of a better reproductive health industry of the future.

All details shared with the committee are strictly confidential. The more detailed application form, the more information the selection committee can use to make their decision. However, if you do not wish to fill in a question, please feel free to leave it blank.

Kelle Moley, MD

Deputy Director of Reproductive Health Technologies Global Health, Discovery and Translational Sciences
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

Dr. Kelle Moley is a career physician-scientist obstetrician/gynecologist who currently leads the Reproductive Health Technologies Domain within the Discovery & Translational Sciences, Global Health Division at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  Kelle joined BMGF in July 2020, with a 30-year history of basic and translational research on reproductive health issues in females throughout the life course-- from organismal to cellular and molecular levels of metabolic, developmental biology, embryo implantation and decidualization, and infectious diseases of the female reproductive tract.

Kelle earned her BA from Wellesley College, and her MD from Yale Medical School. Thereafter, she pursued an Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency and a Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Fertility at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. Kelle then spent the next 3 decades of a thriving research career at Washington University—rising to become the James P. Crane Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Vice Chair of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Chief of the Division of Basic & Translational Research for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Co-Director of the Institute of Clinical & Translational Science for the School of Medicine, and Director of the Center for Reproductive Health Sciences at the School of Medicine. Her research (published in some 150 peer-reviewed primary articles) led to an international reputation along with numerous honors, including election to the National Academy of Medicine in 2014. She also earned a reputation as a superb mentor to trainees, leading the reproductive endocrinology fellowship program at Washington University until she left academia in 2018. After a 2-year stint as Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President of the March of Dimes she left to pursue her new position at BMGF.

Covid-19 Update for attending Reproductive Health Innovation Summit, February 15th – 16th 2022

As of January 15th, 2022, a Covid-19 vaccination mandate will come in to affect in the city of Boston. This mandate means that anyone attending an event must be double vaccinated and provide proof of this prior to attending the event. Anyone with a medical or religious exemption is not permitted to attend any event in line with the Boston city mandate. Further details on the Covid-19 vaccination mandate can be found by clicking here.

The Boston Park Plaza hotel will be enforcing this for any event taking place within their hotel. For more information on what the Boston Park Plaza are doing to ensure the safety of guests and visitors to the hotel click here.

To ensure we meet all mandate and hotel rules, we will be asking anyone attending the Reproductive Health Innovation Summit to be double vaccinated and to provide proof of this by sending us a copy of your vaccination card via email. Anyone who is not double vaccinated will not be permitted to attend; as the venue will not accept testing in lieu of vaccination, and in line with the city of Boston mandate.
